There’s no denying the special place smallmouth bass hold in the heart of an Ozark angler. The king of our native game fish, they’re handsome in their bronze colors, tenacious in their fight, and unpredictable enough to be challenging to catch. A recent float produced several nice ones and we marveled at the chunky, muscled specimens that attacked our streamers. So much fun!
