The Grand Slam. A baseball term adopted by fly anglers to identify a great fishing achievement. The saltwater Grand Slam being a bonefish, permit and tarpon all caught in one day. I had a few clients recently complete what we’ve started calling an Ozark Grand Slam by catching a rainbow trout, a brown trout and a smallmouth bass in one day.
